StreamCoin’s StrmNFT marketplace reaches 5,000-users registration milestone
With more than 5,000 new customers signing up for an account on its StrmNFT marketplace, web3 blockchain business StreamCoin has achieved a new milestone.
After user registration began on May 31, 2022, it took one month to complete the latest feat, according to StreamCoin. Despite the fact that the majority of these consumers have been supporting StreamCoin since January 2022, the business has noticed a sizable volume of fresh user registrations.
“As per our strategy toward establishing an ecosystem from user to tech, we built StrmNFT to be an easy-to-use marketplace and an open environment for all types of users,” stated Michael Ein Chaybeh, CEO of StreamCoin.
Chaybeh and the rest of the StreamCoin team created user-interface features to “draw the line between crypto enthusiasts and modern Web2 users who have never seen blockchain or cryptocurrency before” in response to the gap between Web2 and Web3 users.
The team urged users to start minting non fungible tokens (NFTs) for images and videos on StrmNFT while it is still free till this month, July 2022. Minting an NFT on the platform will start to cost money later in July. The NFTs created on the StrmNFT exchange will adhere to the NSTA-602 token standard, which is different from the current EVM-compatible variants.
The company’s aim to market its energy-efficient blockchain, which supports up to 300,000 transactions per second, includes the ongoing minting campaign. The native blockchain of StreamCoin, Stream Chain, must be “responsible and eco-friendly,” according to Chaybeh.
“We came up with a new, responsible and eco-friendly solution that doesn’t compromise speed and efficiency and, at the same time, contributes to a better future for our planet,” Chaybeh said. “As we observe how the planet is being consumed every day by operating high-capacity servers, power-consuming blockchain networks, and other high carbon-emission platforms.”
The “Lady Ape Club” NFT collection has already been minted by TNC Group, one of Stream Coins blockchain partner businesses, on StrmNFT. There will only be 10,000 distinct Lady Apes made, according to the NFT organization inspired by the Bored Apes Yacht Club. Lady Ape Club NFTs will be offered at a reduced price to individuals who took part in the StreamCoin (STRM) public sale or STRM staking site as part of TNC Group’s support for StreamCoin.
